Membership in REDAC may be granted to any professional working in the field of public health, care and research, residing (or not) in a country or region of Africa or the world and who demonstrates an interest in sickle cell disease, whose membership is validated by the board.

Members must pay annual dues according to their professional category and are invited to participate in a General Assembly (GA) held at least once a year. The board proposes a membership fee, the amount of which depends on the member's professional category.
