Dear Participants,

 

Welcome to the 10th REDAC Symposium. To ensure the smooth running of this event, please take into account the following recommendations:

1. Registration

Access to the presentation rooms will be restricted to registered participants. Please check in at the conference reception desk to collect your badge from 7:30 a.m. on June 3, 2026.

Your registration entitles you to the participant kit, scientific sessions, coffee breaks and lunches. Dinner is not included .

Wearing a badge is mandatory and must be worn at all times during the congress to access the various sessions, activities, lunch breaks, etc. Do not lose it; reprinting the badge is subject to a fee.

1. Visas

Symposium participants requiring a visa to enter Côte d'Ivoire must apply for an electronic visa (e-Visa) online via the following link : https://evisa-ivoirien.oneci.ci/

The following steps must be taken:

a. Online pre-registration and payment

b. Uploading the required documents (valid passport, passport photo, letter of invitation to the conference, plane ticket, etc.)

c. Receipt of an electronic prior agreement

d. Issuance of the visa upon arrival at Félix-Houphouët-Boigny International Airport (collection of biometric data and affixing of the visa in the passport)

Note: The visa is not entirely issued online: it is physically collected upon arrival in Abidjan.

It is recommended to make the application at least 1 month before departure.

The passport must be valid for at least six (6) months after the date of entry into Côte d'Ivoire.

Travellers entering by land should contact the Ivory Coast embassy or consulate in their country of residence.

3. Transport and Logistics

At the airport (Abidjan):

A member of the symposium organizing committee and a shuttle will be available to welcome you if you communicate your flight plan to the organizing committee at the following addresses and WhatsApp number:

A shuttle will transport participants from Abidjan's Félix Houphouet Boigny Airport to Yamoussoukro.

 

During the congress (in Yamoussoukro):

To facilitate the logistical organization of the symposium, an official shuttle service will be available for participants. The shuttle will transport participants to the conference venue each morning between 7:00 and 8:00 and again at the end of each session.

 

The shuttle service will only be provided from hotels and residences approved for the symposium.

 

We strongly recommend that participants book their accommodation in officially partner establishments in order to benefit from the transport service.

4. Accommodation

As part of the organization of the symposium, the Organizing Committee has selected a number of partner hotels and residences. Geographical location: The approved hotels and residences are located within a reasonable distance of the official congress site.

5. Official languages of the congress

The symposium will be held in a bilingual format, with French and English as the official languages.

To ensure optimal participation and full understanding of scientific communications, a professional simultaneous French-English / English-French translation service will be provided during plenary sessions and main scientific activities.

6. Program and Sessions:

We encourage you to check it regularly so you don't miss any important sessions. Let's be punctual. Please respect your speaking time. Electronic devices must be set to silent mode during sessions.

7. Temperature in Yamoussoukro:

The climate is tropical and humid. Maximum temperatures are around 30°C during the day and minimum temperatures are around 21–22°C at night. June is the rainy season in Yamoussoukro. Therefore, you are likely to experience showers or intermittent rain between June 3rd and 6th.

8. Taking photos of the presentations:

Some conference attendees have requested that no photos be taken of their presentations. We kindly ask you to respect this request and refrain from taking photos or recording the sessions in question. For those who wish to obtain the presentations, a USB drive containing all the materials will be available at the end of the conference. If you are interested, please register at the reception desk upon arrival (price 10,000).

09. Stands and posters

The congress offers a rich space for scientific and professional exchange through exhibitor booths and poster sessions. We strongly encourage all participants to: • Visit the booths to discover the innovations, products, and services offered by the congress's partners and sponsors

To exchange ideas with exhibitors and representatives in order to strengthen collaborations and partnerships.

10. Instructions for the posters

Poster format

• Required format: A0 (84.1 cm × 118.9 cm) • Orientation: Portrait (vertical)

• Language: French or English

• Font legible from a distance (minimum recommended size: 24 pt for text)

Formatting recommendations

• Favor figures, tables, and diagrams

• Limit the text

• Avoid excessively long paragraphs

Installation and display

• The posters must be installed on: June 3rd between 10am and 12pm

• The location will be indicated on site

• Mounting hardware will be available on site. Authors will be present

• The author must be present during the poster sessions and available to answer questions

Important information

• Authors are responsible for shipping and printing. • Posters must be removed at the end of the symposium.

11. Hygiene, Safety, Vaccines:

• The yellow fever vaccination is mandatory for entry into Côte d'Ivoire. Your vaccination certificate must be presented to the health authorities at the airport upon arrival.

• Respect the safety instructions of the hotel and the conference venue.

• Please follow the hygiene measures in place, including the use of hand sanitizers available on site.

• In case of emergency, refer to the posted evacuation plans and follow the instructions of the staff.

12. Tourist and cultural activities in Yamoussoukro

As part of the symposium, the organizing committee has planned a program of tourist and cultural activities on Saturday, June 6, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to allow participants to discover the rich historical, cultural, and natural heritage of Yamoussoukro. Participation in the activities requires prior registration and is subject to a fee (15,000 CFA per person).

14. Feedback and Suggestions
