About the event
To mark World Sickle Cell Day, DRCEUREKA ASBL is organizing a scientific discussion on June 19, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. in the CEFA Kemi amphitheater, in partnership with the Central African Sickle Cell Disease Research Network. This event will bring together professionals from various sectors, offering a unique opportunity to exchange ideas around the theme: "Strategy to improve the monitoring and quality of life of patients with sickle cell disease in Africa," and to share up-to-date information and insights on progress made in monitoring, diagnosis, treatment, research, education, advocacy, and the care of people with sickle cell disease.
